National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) presented an award of excellence to Alh. Umar Babangida MD/CEO Jigawa Savings and Loans Ltd on 23rd of April 2014 at the Head Office of JSL at Federal Govt Secretariat Dutse, Jigawa State.
According to NANS president, Alh Babangida Umar was selected amidst many Nigerians for his outstanding philanthropic gesture to Nigerian youths.
In his remark, the MD/CEO highlighted some of the various education scholarships he has been giving to Nigerian Youths ranging from SSCE and UTME form purchase and bursary to potential and admitted students respectively.
Alh. Babangida Umar dedicated the award to His Excellency Governor Sule Lamido (CON) of Jigawa State for his commitment in transforming JSL to good standard by meeting up the #2.5 billion naira recapitalization as required by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs) requiring State Authorisation Licence.
